There are many different causes of knee pain. Some of the most common include arthritis, ligament injuries (ACL, PCL and MCL tears), cartilage injuries (meniscus tears), patellar tendonitis, iliotibial band (ITB) syndrome, Baker’s Cyst and bursitis.

We do a thorough exam on our patients to determine the cause of their pain. With knee pain we will typically take a complete history to better understand what the problem is, look at range of motion and do orthopedic tests. We will also take x-rays in our office or refer out for additional imaging like MRIs when necessary.

Knee on Trac and Red/NIR Light Therapy, treatment will depend on the cause of the knee pain. Some of the treatments we offer that can help with knee pain include extremity adjustments, electrical muscle stimulation, Precor stretches, vibration platforms and orthotics.
